How do I Know if Starting Therapy is Right for Me?

If you want to improve your functioning, relationships, happiness, and life satisfaction, therapy is for you.  We will meet you where you are —to work collaboratively on improving your day-to-day functioning.  We want you to succeed and work towards a better you. We are here for you and want to create positive change and lasting improvements that you can see and feel in your life.  

Are Phone/Video Sessions an Option?

Yes!  Your schedule, your life, therapy your way.

Which Therapist Should I Choose?

When you contact our office, our attentive staff will take great care to ensure that your unique concerns are well-matched to one of our skilled therapists.  A good fit with your therapist is one of the greatest indicators of success in therapy, and we pride ourselves on ensuring a good fit between client and therapist.  

What if I Need or Want Medication?

For some, medication is an option that may help. If medication is something you desire, your skilled therapist will discuss this with you and connect you with a prescribing provider.

How Will My Privacy and Confidentiality be Maintained?

Your privacy and confidentiality are of utmost concern to us, and we will not share your information without your knowledge or consent.  We follow strict ethical practices to keep your information private.  Additionally, we utilize technologically sophisticated practices to maintain a high level of privacy.  We will talk with you throughout your therapy process about any privacy concerns you may have in order to understand your needs and address them to the best of our ability.

 

Insurance and Payment Options

What Insurance Plans do you accept?

We accept Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Eastern Illinois Student Insurance, Health Alliance, Health Link, Optum, Medicare, Tricare, United Health Care, United Health Care University of Illinois Student Insurance, Web TPA, and many more. If you do not see your insurance listed here, please contact us, and we would be happy to discuss your benefits and coverage further.

What EAPs (Employee Assistance Plans) do you accept?

Employee assistance plans or EAPs are employer-based benefits that provide coverage for therapy sessions. We accept Aetna Resources For Living, ACI, Care bridge, Cigna, Health Advocate, Resolutions, Wellspring, and many more. EAP plans are different from insurance plans. If you are unsure if you are eligible for EAP benefits, you can speak with your employer's human resources department to find out more information.  If you do not see your EAP listed here or would like more information, please contact us, and we would be pleased to discuss your benefits and coverage further. 

Can I Pay Directly for Services?

Yes.  Paying directly for services is an option that is available to you.  Please contact our dedicated Patient Accounts team to discuss this further.  We are here to meet your needs.

You are not alone - many people find insurance confusing.  Our knowledgeable, dedicated Patient Accounts team is here to walk you through your insurance benefits.  We start this process before your initial session to fully inform you about your insurance benefits and any costs to you.
